Antique Shop Photo Shoot

Antique Shop Photo Shoot

This week Rob Jelinski Studios held a photo shoot for A Book Called… Forever in a lovely vintage haven called The Montclair Antique Center. There are many antique shops in the area, but I choose this one because it’s a collective space with many sellers under one roof. This allows the shop to give a full, yet lofty display of all it’s collectables. In fact, the antique center as has multiple rooms that make one feel as if they were traveling across the globe and through time with each threshold!

It’s exciting to share these teaser photos with you all! It’s been about seven months since I first started crafting A Book Called… Forever. At first, the thought of successfully portraying everyone’s forever seemed unachievable! But once I understood that this undertaking could only be accomplished by illustrating the milestones most people encounter in their lifetime with other variables highlighted through surrounding promotions, such as this, it all seemed to solidify. Adjoining my sketchbook project with antique elements seemed so fitting as each one of these pieces were owned and used by so many different people! Each book, table, basket, chair, and desk tell a story with every bit of aged detail just like the artwork bound inside of A Book Called… Forever!

I hope you enjoy this glimpse into the antique shop photo shoot! Please keep checking My Ink Pad, my Fan Page and Twitter for updates on when the entire roll of film will be released!
